We made the bear bell better, thanks to technology!With this app, you will never find yourself in the woods without a way to alert bears (and other critters) to your presence.
The bell activates with each step you take.
What makes it better?You can turn it on and off.
You can choose different bells.
There is an ultrasonic bell, so that critters hear it, but you dont!
There is a pedometer, so you will know how many steps you have taken on your hike.
About the ultrasonic silent bell:This bell takes advantage of the fact that most humans can not hear about 20Khz, but bears and other critters (coyotes, dogs, mountain lions, etc) can.
Using this mode allows you to alert them to your presence, without having to listen to a bell for your whole hike.
Note, that its possible small children and young adults may be able to hear the noise, and would irritated by them.
This is why you can select other sounds to play.
There are no ads, and the app will work offline.This is NOT an animal deterrent.
Its only to alert other animals to your presence so they are not startled.
